Need A Dari Translation? We Can Help.
Dari is one of the official languages in Afghanistan, with the other being Pashto. The name Dari refers to the modern dialect of the Persian language which is the standardized language used in administrative, Government, television, radio and other media in the country. There are approximately 18 million native speakers of the language.
The Dari language could be viewed as a more formal form of the Farsi language. The differences are mainly in the pronunciation of words and the written languages are largely the same. Many languages have been influenced in some way by the Dari language including Urdu, Gujarati and Punjabi.

Thank you very much for the wonderful work you did with my translation. I'm very happy with your work and will recommend your company whenever somebody needs translation for something.
Wintranslation's project management has been very quality-driven and conscientious. They respond to queries and solve problems even after-hours and during weekends. Their efforts made it possible for us to meet our release schedules. We are very pleased with wintranslation's localization service.
As part of my degree, I worked as an intern at wintranslation for eleven weeks. My colleagues were very friendly and, as I live in France, working remotely was perfect. Indigenous QA is a task that requires dedication and patience and it was a great way to gain knowledge about Aboriginal culture and languages. The revision of child books was also a great experience. It pushed me to ask myself questions I wouldn't even have considered if the text was written for an adult. I recommend this company to any students looking to gain experience in the field of translation and revision, or to test their ability to work remotely and independently.
When we needed a large, complex document translated from English to French on a tight timeline, wintranslation was able to take on the job without delay, and get it done on time with good quality. They even identified some issues with the English version that we were able to fix before it was published — an added value! When another document came in at the last minute just before a big event, wintranslation had no trouble accommodating the request which I knew would be too much to ask of a smaller independent contractor. Communications were swift, professional and friendly. I had one less thing to worry about at a time when many components needed to come together quickly and had to meet high quality standards. The company was very solution- and client-oriented, which I very much appreciated.
We contacted wintranslation to have one of our assessment documents translated into Eastern Ojibwe. The communication was easy and the translation was delivered with attention to detail and care. The very next time, when we required translation of another document into Dënesųłiné (Chipewyan), nēhiyawēwin (Plains Cree), Néhinaw (Swampy Cree) and Nīhithawīwin (Woods Cree) we contacted wintranslation and really appreciated the one-stop convenience and their capabilities in Indigenous languages we requested.
Our organization needed several materials translated into Atikamekw and Naskapi to promote rail safety in Indigenous communities. Wintranslation responded to our request and provided us with an accurate quote and estimated turnaround time — which was surprisingly quick. Although our materials were designed in-house, the wintranslation team was happy to review all final designs to ensure there were no errors, and the layout was correct. We will definitely do business with them again for future projects.
Response rate is always timely. Rates are competitive. We are a growing business with more and more translation needs. Glad we found wintranslation look forward to working together again.
I had a great experience working with wintranslation. I called first to get an idea of what specific Indigenous dialect I would need translation into based on my program's region and they were very helpful. I received a quick response back on my request for a quote and prompt and polite service throughout the entire interaction. In addition, receipt of my e-mail was acknowledged in a timely manner even though my consultant was out of the office for the afternoon which helped to put my mind at ease.
Working with Wintranslation has been very rewarding for me and our Anishinaabe people. It has given me the opportunity to apply our language, which is not part of our everyday vocabulary, to the translations I have been doing. It has also given me the opportunity to develop new translations for words that are new to our language. With respect to the payment method, it is on time, and if there is a need to receive payment before the scheduled date, they will usually accommodate the request. The rapport with the employees was great and they were always supportive. Most important, it is keeping our Anishinaabe language alive.
I have done translations for wintranslation for about 2-3 years. I have been a translator and interpreter for most of my life. Now that I am retired wintranslation is there to keep me going. I like doing work for winstranslation because of the challenges. It keeps my mind alert and brings back some of the words I had forgotten. I also like the payment part. They usually pay when I request payment earlier than scheduled. I don’t have to wait 4-6 weeks for payment. Translation and interpretation is my way of giving voice to those who cannot speak a different language. To me that is an honor. I am very proud of the fact that I can do this. winstranslation gives that chance.
I approached wintranslation because I needed a series of Educational Posters translated into Swampy Cree to facilitate a broader reach to our Indigenous audience. Wintranslation made the process easy even when I was unable to communicate regularly. I really appreciated their quick turn around times (faster than quoted) and their patience with my questions about the translation (not having any background with the language). The end result are some fabulous resources that will be shared with kids and adults alike, with more to come!
Working as an intern at wintranslation was a great experience. The staff is very friendly and the flexible hours were ideal as a student. Through hiring Aboriginal translators, I gained research skills and knowledge about Aboriginal culture and languages. I definitely recommend it to any students looking to gain experience in the field of translation.
Thank you very much for turning that job around so quickly. Working with your company was a piece of cake. Thanks so much. I'm sure we'll be in touch in the future as other opportunities become available.
We […] want all Canadian farmers to have access to as much advanced farm management information and material as possible in the official language of their choice. Working with Wintranslation is amazing. It gives me opportunity to do what I enjoy, translating, and it gives me satisfaction that I have helped the community of Rankin Inlet in this one small way. It helps me feel like I am doing my part to help keep my dialect, Aivilingmiut/Rankin Inlet, alive.
The staff and coordination is very straightforward and it is easy to work with. Any questions I have are answered, and they give me the opportunity to take a job or to give it to someone else - there are no surprises or unexpected pressures of any kind.
We found wintranslation by means of the All-Seeing Eye (Google, that is), and we selected you on the basis of testimonials for timely delivery, price, and (not least) rapid and true personal engagement from your side. … It is my personal experience that this last factor is usually grossly underestimated - happy to see that you guys take it seriously!
Very satisfied [with the project manager]'s customer service, [it] was excellent. Email correspondence was punctual and friendly and professional. It was a pleasure working with her.
I am an Inuk (Eskimo) translator from Nunavut, and I translate documents to my dialect. I enjoy working with Wintranslation because they provide me with income needed to buy groceries which are very high in Nunavut. I especially enjoy working with Wintranslation staff because they are caring and understanding of our Inuit culture. I am planning to continue working with Wintranslation as long as my services are needed.

I valued the kindness and consideration given to us. While always being professional, we were treated like people, not clients. When we got a reply, wintranslation remembered that we had had a past contract with them. I really appreciated that they remembered our organization and this gave me confidence in their respectful engagement. We created a reconciliation toolkit for business leaders and wanted to make sure that everyone had access to it. Wintranslation really helped us out.
The museum contacted wintranslation because we needed text translated for a new panel. We wanted two dialects for the panel – Eastern Ojibwe and Mohawk. wintranslation went above and beyond to ensure the dialects were location appropriate and that they were done by knowledge holders from both communities.
Patience and commitment of wintranslation staff to ensure that we had high quality and accurate translation was amazing. Thank you wintranslation, the translators and community members for ensuring the museum was able to put forth an excellent panel that was true to both communities and that visitors to Murney Tower Museum will be able to experience both Eastern Ojibwe and Mohawk in print.
We (The Indigenous Theatre at the National Arts Centre) required short translations in a variety of dialects: Algonquin, Michif, Plains Cree, Woods Cree and Halq'eméylem. Wintranslation helped us find the best match from their available translators and overall had all of the dialects we needed. They were competent, friendly, and helped us meet our tight deadlines efficiently.
Wintranslation has completed multiple French translations for our organization, ranging from surveys, interview scripts, and educational based documents. Wintranslation has always been professional and prompt with their responses and finalized work. Even within tight deadlines, wintranslation has not only completed the requested translation, but ensured no errors, accuracy, and final layouts were professionally achieved within both the translated documents and the original documents. They have been amazing to work with and respect cultural requirements. We definitely plan to utilize their services for future projects.
Thank you for your assistance with the translation of our documents. You made this whole process very easy and fast. Kudos to your company, their quality and speed of work, courteous customer service and professionalism. Looking forward to dealing with you with translation needs in the future. Thank you!
Working for wintranslation has been a very rewarding experience for me and helps me keep both Michif and Plains Cree languages alive. The staff are always very helpful with any inquiries I may have and very prompt in replying. They are accommodating with payments and the projects are always enjoyable to receive. I would recommend working with wintranslation to anyone.
