Need A Blackfoot Translation? We Can Help.
Blackfoot, often known as Siksika, or Pikanii, is spoken by the Blackfoot tribes in southern Alberta and northwestern Montana. Three of the four Blackfoot dialects are spoken in Canada: Siksika (Blackfoot), Kainai (Blood), and Aapátohsipikani (Northern Piegan). The fourth dialect, Aamsskáápipikani (Southern Piegan) is spoken in the United States. Our translators specialize in Aapátohsipikani, primarily spoken in the Peigan community in southern Alberta and an translate into the Blackfoot syllabics script called pikoni kayna siksika.
