Need A Siberian Yupik Translation? We Can Help.
The Siberian Yupik language is also known as Central Siberian Yupik, Bering Strait Yupik, Yuit, Yoit, or Yuk and is the largest of the Yupik languages. About 1,200 Siberian Yupik live on the Chukchi Peninsula in the Russian Far East, while around 1,100 live in Alaska. However, of those 1,200 living in Russia, only around 300 speak Siberian Yupiks. In Alaska, the majority of the Siberian Yupik population speak their language with 1,050 out of 1,100 speakers.
Siberian Yupik is broken down into two dialects: the Chaplinski Yupik dialect of the Chukchi Peninsula and the Sivuqaghmiistun dialect used in Alaska.
