Recruiting

Our recruiting process involves a review of the position’s professional and linguistic requirements.  The talent search starts with our network of cultural and community-based associations as well and with an ever-growing database of registered applicants seeking temporary or permanent positions.  Candidates’ credentials are reviewed, interviews are conducted and references are verified, documented and translated for our clients’ review.   Proposed finalists are submitted for client approval. 

Project-driven translation staffing

Project-driven translation staffing is the perfect solution for clients who have in-house project management resources and want to work directly with translators, bypassing the translation vendor’s project manager.  A project-dedicated team is recruited, tested and submitted for approval.  The translators receive work and instructions directly from the client and deliver the work directly to the client.   Both translators and clients submit time sheets to wintranslation for validation and consolidation and wintranslation provides the client with one verified, itemized invoice per month, customized according to the level of detail required.  This solution provides client-dedicated resources, direct access to translators and the opportunity to provide training to translators without having to hire permanent staff.   Translators can work either on or off-site. 

Testing

Translators are given timed tests and are evaluated by professional revisors using either client provided or win translation.com’s tests and evaluation criteria, customized according to the client’s requirements.

For evaluating language proficiency of multilingual staff, wintranslation.com interviews candidates and administers written exams. 

Pricing

The pricing will vary according to the nature of the position, the level of effort required and the services needed.  The final amount is based on the number of hours required.  Estimates are provided after the initial consultation.
