Job Opening: Translator

wintranslation is currently seeking translators who live within Canada who are fully proficient in one or more foreign languages, in addition to English and/or French. We are particularly interested in translators who have an active Enhanced Reliability security clearance with the Government of Canada.

Beginning spring 2013, we expect an increase in demand for translation of documents into French or English from the six following languages:

• Arabic
• Chinese (Traditional or Simplified)
• Spanish
• Farsi (Persian)
• Romanian
• Russian

We can assist qualified translators who do not have an active security clearance in taking the steps to get the Enhanced Reliability clearance level.

• An up-to-date copy of your resume
• A copy of your active Enhanced Reliability security clearance form, if you have one
• At least 2 sample translations of the languages you provide services in. The samples should be at least 1000 words in length and be sure to include both the source and translated text.
• Any other documents relating to your abilities as a translator, such as a certification with a professional translator association
