COST

Be wary of translators who charge less than your babysitter does

As you shop online for translation services, you will find the translation prices vary greatly from one company to another.

While high prices don’t equal high quality, someone who charges too low a price may not have the skills or time to do an adequate job. If your translator is earning little more than a babysitter, he or she most likely won’t be able to devote the attention your material deserves. After all, the translation carries the image of your products and services.

Think commonsense. How many pages can a translator produce per hour? How much time would you like your translator to spend on the material that will promote your product or service? How long did it take you to develop the original?

Like anything worth doing, it is worth doing well. If you cannot afford professional translation, maybe you are not ready to go global yet.

Translators are highly educated language professionals whose craft take years to hone. Their rendering of your company's documentation has a direct impact on your image in international markets.

There are many factors that need to be considered when choosing a translation supplier, don’t make your decision on price alone.
