Mohawk Language

Mohawk is one of the Aboriginal languages spoken by the indigenous people of Canada. There are also tribes who speak Mohawk in parts of New York. There are around 3500 speakers of this language as of 2007, although there has been a strong effort to revive the language in recent years. Many within native territory now teach the language from kindergarten through to  grade 8 and language classes are offered to adults.

wintranslation is proud to support the preservation of the Aboriginal languages of Canada. Here are some of the other Aboriginal languages we can help you with.
